🔧 Server Status & The Biggest Farming Week In A While – Maintenance Monday Report
Date: August 3, 2026
Report Status: Weekly Series – Server Intel & Event Coverage

Tactical Intelligence Focus: Server status for the week, Assault Global Event and Optimization Surge ending, Prototype Surge and Ambush Global Event launching, Tech Overdrive Surge stacking on Friday, and how the overlap affects your farming schedule.
📋 THEMATIC OVERVIEW
🔶 A QUIET SERVER, A LOUD FARMING WEEK
No maintenance is scheduled across the SHD network this week — servers are stable on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox as of Monday morning. That calm is deceptive, though, because the event calendar is anything but quiet. Two events wrap up tomorrow, two more launch the same day, and a third joins the mix on Friday, stacking into one of the busiest farming windows of the season.
🔶 SERVER STATUS
All The Division 2 servers are currently online and operational across every platform. No emergency maintenance has been announced, though as always, that situation stays fluid — Agents should keep an eye on official channels in case that changes mid-week.
Key details:
* No planned maintenance for the week of August 3
* Servers stable across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox
* No patch or balance changes announced
🔶 EVENTS ENDING TUESDAY
Two of last week’s biggest farming draws close out tomorrow at the daily project reset.
Important information:
* Assault Global Event ends August 4, at the daily project reset
* Optimization Surge ends August 4, at the daily project reset
If you’ve been sitting on either of these, tomorrow morning’s reset is the cutoff — get any final runs in before they’re gone.
🔶 EVENTS LAUNCHING TUESDAY
Right as those two end, two new events take their place, both running through August 11.
* Prototype Surge — starts August 4, after the daily project reset, runs to August 11
* Ambush Global Event — starts August 4, after the daily project reset, runs to August 11
Prototype Surge and the Ambush Global Event launch together, giving Agents a full week to stack progress across both before they close.
🔶 TECH OVERDRIVE SURGE JOINS FRIDAY
The week’s third event doesn’t launch until Friday, but it lands right on top of the other two.
* Tech Overdrive Surge — starts August 7, runs to August 11
From Friday through the 11th, all three events — Prototype Surge, the Ambush Global Event, and Tech Overdrive Surge — are live simultaneously, closing out the week at full intensity.
🔶 STRATEGIC INSIGHT
With three surge and global events overlapping in the same window, this is a strong stretch to knock out gear optimization, core farming, and build testing all at once rather than spreading it across separate weeks. Agents planning their play time should treat the Tuesday reset and the Friday activation as the two key checkpoints to build a farming schedule around.
🔶 WEEKLY REMINDER
⏰ Tuesday, August 4 (Daily Reset): Assault Global Event and Optimization Surge end; Prototype Surge and Ambush Global Event begin.
⏰ Friday, August 7: Tech Overdrive Surge begins, stacking with the two Tuesday launches through August 11.
🛰️ SHD PROTOCOL SUMMARY
“this week brings no scheduled maintenance but three farming events launching back to back agents can expect the assault global event and optimization surge to end tuesday august 4 at the daily project reset while prototype surge and the ambush global event both launch the same day running through august 11 tech overdrive surge then joins the lineup friday august 7 also running through august 11 with prototype surge and tech overdrive surge stacking on top of the ambush global event this is one of the strongest windows this season to push gear optimization core farming and build testing back to back no patch or balance changes have been announced this week so builds remain stable while the surge stacking plays out agents are advised to plan their farming schedule around the tuesday reset and the friday activation to make the most of the overlap”
