The Ivory Key is part of a set of 8 total keys needed to open the Ivory Key weapon box located in the White House. Each key comes from a specific Hunter encounter — this is number 5 of 8.

🔶 PREREQUISITES — DO THIS FIRST

Before you can trigger the Spectre Hunter you must complete a side mission first.

Required Side Mission: DC 62 Lab Quarantined

• Location: North of Dark Zone South

• Complete the full side mission

• After completion, return to the quarantine zone — this unlocks the Hunter trigger

Do not skip this step. The Hunter will not spawn without the side mission completed.

🔶 FINDING THE LOCATION

Head to East Mall, north of Dark Zone South. You are looking for a contaminated building with shipping containers stacked on a truck parked next to it. This is your trigger point — the entire sequence is performed from the top of that truck facing the building.

🔶 THE WINDOW SEQUENCE — STEP BY STEP

This is a precision trigger. Follow these steps exactly:

1. Locate the contaminated building with the shipping container truck parked beside it

2. Jump onto the back of the shipping container truck

3. From the truck, shoot the BOTTOM row of windows — left to right — all 8 windows

4. Then shoot the TOP row of windows — left to right — all 8 windows

5. The Spectre Hunter will appear on the roof immediately after the sequence is complete

⚠️ Critical Rules:

• Do NOT shoot any blacked-out or already broken windows — intact windows only

• The sequence must be clean — any missed window breaks the trigger

• If you miss a window, log out and back in to reset the puzzle completely

• If the Hunter does not spawn at all, your world instance may be bugged — join a friend’s world to redo the encounter

🔶 COMBAT NOTES — YOU HAVE SECONDS

The Spectre Hunter is unlike any other Hunter in the field archive. He will not attack you. He will not chase you. The moment he appears on the roof he begins moving — and within seconds he vanishes completely.

What this means for agents:

• Be locked on the roof BEFORE you shoot the final window

• Have your highest damage weapon equipped and aimed before completing the sequence

• The moment he appears — shoot immediately. No hesitation.

• Missing the shot means resetting the entire window puzzle from scratch

Recommended Prep:

• Any build works — this is a reaction shot, not a sustained fight

• Marksman Rifle or Shotgun recommended for single high-damage shots

• Do not bring skills that need activation time — you will not have it
